Skyscape Hill

Welcome to Skyscape Hill, royal land of Zerua and home to the great King Sharen and his herd. Skyscape Hill is a tall, grassy hillside that overlooks nearly everywhere in Zerua. Atop this massive hill is a small forest where Sharen and other privileged equines spend their evenings. Small streams flow down the hillside, and the area is dotted with trees and various other plant life. In the Spring and Summer, the entire hillside is covered in wildflowers. King Sharen enjoys a life of leisure, and here, he feels right at home, and wishes the same for all of his subjects.

Lake Iris

Lake Iris is a massive lake not far from the base of Skyscape Hill. In the center of this huge water body is a fairly large island. This is where the equines who choose to live here reside. There is only one way to get on and off of the island, and that's by way of a large sandbar to the Western side of the lake. In times of flooding, the island is impossible to get to unless you're a good swimmer, and those who live on the island are often trapped there during those times. The island itself is a very comfortable place to live, tall pine trees extending high into the skies, tall grasses and fresh water everywhere you look. It's a good place for those who like to be alone to simply enjoy nature.

Forest of Veins

The Forest of Veins is a completely Birch tree forest that looks as if it came from a dream. The skinny trees extend high above the land, and dozens of small rivers and streams run along the forest's floor. This is a very calming place, and usually the only sounds to be heard are those of the tweeting birds and scurrying rabbits and squirrels. Deer are known to move in small groups through this forest, usually trailed by packs of wolves. Those who are not too keen of their surroundings do not belong here; even though this place is calming and serene, danger could be lurking just about anywhere, and you may get hurt if you're not careful.

Cloaked Marshes

Cloaked Marshes is located directly East of the Forest of Veins, and appears very abruptly as soon as you exit the forest. The skinny Birch trees dwindle and fade away as thicker branches of Cypress and Sycamore begin to create a canopy over the land. This is a dark and gloomy place, though some equines find it perfect for what they desire in a home. The lands are wet nearly everywhere except for a few spots at higher ground, and it isn't uncommon to see various predators moving through the marshes' waters. If it's your desire to live in the Cloaked Marshes, you should be able to fend for yourself, as it's likely for danger to come when you least expect it.
