Hall of the Mountain King

The hall of the mountian king is mostly known as 'the hall' or 'the mountain hall'. it is a series of caves that wind through a long dormant volcano. there are multiple passage ways then end in short, round rooms near the entrance. the main river of the lands found its way into the cave from a hole in the main caves roof. it comes down in a waterfall and runs down through a cave system that after awhile, gets to small to go through and leaves the volcano. during rainstorms, the river over floods and some caves fill with water. the hall is a safe, but sometimes hazardous place. the strong survive.

The Valley Floor

A valley nestled between the volcano and another, lesser mountian. year round it is a secluded place, safe from heavy snowfall in the winter, and grass is good year round. the river that runs from the hall comes out here, running down the side of the volcano and straight through the valley. the royal herd often visits here when food is scarce.

The Ice Forest

In the summer, this land is flourishing with trees of many different colors, wonderful plant life, and plenty of water. but in the winter, it changes. the leaves fall and leave behind bare trees which become covered in sharp and pointy icicles and snow. the plant life dies off, and the water becomes scarce. the strong truly survive here.

Black Sands Beach

The sands here have turned black due to the volcano's lava spewing over, and its ash in the air when it was once active. its a rough texture, and at many times, a dangerous current. many caves can be found along the edge of the beaches, where plant life can be found, as well as pools of fresh water that come from the river that feeds from the valley floor to the ocean here. some caves during high tide are dangerous, as they fill with water. so choose with caution.
